Wer das line-up sieht, merkts gleich: „THAT BEATIN RHYTHM ALLNIGHTER“ ist das legitime Kind des „Uptight – The Frankfurt Soul Weekend“ mit dem Atze Knauf, Weller und Dr. Groove jeden Frühling und jeden Herbst zu three nights of magical soul music eingeladen hatten.
Zum 10. Geburtstag, Anfang März, leider zum letzten mal. Kein Soul Weekend mehr, no boilin` Dancefloor, jung und alt, schwarz und weiß, die Jungs im Hemd, die Mädels im Kleid. Aber gar nicht brav.
Da hab ich Sonntag nacht etwas bedröppelt aus der Wäsche geguckt, und Atze sagte zu mir: „es wird aber schon noch Soul Parties in Frankfurt geben!“
