Vir Nocturna | Smuckers | Diesel

Dark things reach us there sometimes. Vir Nocturna from Fontana, California, produces – mainly instrumental – sound that moves somewhere on the threshold of slow trip-hop (key stimulus!) and glitch-hop with orchestral sound elements. Something melancholic lies in the tracks, which have a little soundtrack-score-like. Most of Vir Nocture’s tracks, including the EP “Matters” and the latest track “Hi Sampson” are available for free download on Bandcamp and Soundcloud under Creative Commons license. Additionally there is a Demo-Tape for download. We took the liberty of combining his tracks with the at least as gloomy-mysterious photographs of Sanna Tugend. Creepy here, isn’t it? Next time there will be something cheerful… maybe.
