Broke For Free – Naked As We Came

About Broke For Free we had already reported three years ago. At that time his record Gold Can Stay had appeared. Since then, we’ve never completely lost sight of Californian Tom Cascino, who in our opinion is one of the most exciting producers under Creative Commons licenses. Others look similar. His tracks are streamed hundreds of thousands of times, his track Night Owl recently broke the magic barrier of one million downloads. Last year followed with Petal another great album. A few days ago he returned via Facebook with another track for free download. Naked As We Came is a cover version and a bow to the original track by Iron & Wine, published on Our Endless Numbered Days from the year 2004. Cascino himself writes that it cost him to overcome his efforts to remix this song. However, we find his interpretation extraordinarily well done and were especially pleased with the hint published with the song, that soon (very, very soon!) another complete Broke For Free album will be released.
