Various – Pasture The Future Of Past 3
Now it’s official. We are obviously slow bloggers. At a time when we were still busy enjoying the fantastic catalogue number 103, Broque has long since moved on again and has since launched the 104th release with The Hermits third part of Liber long ago. But it doesn’t matter, in the end the 103, Pasture – The Future Of Past 3, also takes a look into the past. On it, artists from the Broque environment reinterpret some older tracks from the back catalogue. Among the five tracks we especially liked the dubby Tim-Susa mix of DML’s Nymphenburg, but also The Hermits both versions of N Y City, which move along the intersections of Electronica, Krautrock and Post-Punk. Apopos Broque environment: this reaches across only a few corners also to us in the city. Through Broque’s relationship with the label Polyfon, that until five years ago vinyl releases with contributions by Losoul or Pantha Du Prince were released, one ends up with the Frankurter DJ and producer Le Rubrique, who hosts the Sucio evenings on Thursdays at the KOZ. The world is a village and that’s a good thing, and you can find the complete release in high bitrate directly on the Dorf-Weit-Web-page of the label.
